… and the winner is ….
Im Rahmen des Schulwettbewerbs Fremdsprache Englisch konnte Rosalie Born aus der Klasse 7a in ihrer Klassenstufe den Schulsieg erringen und trat am 20. März für die Oberschule Brandis als Teilnehmerin im Regionalwettbewerb Leipzig in der nächsten Schwierigkeitsstufe an. Mit ihr wetteiferten 19 Schüler und Schülerinnen aus anderen Leipziger Schulen.
Rosalie gelang etwas ganz Großes: Sie wurde Siegerin in ihrer Altersgruppe.

Hier ist Rosalies kleiner Erfahrungsbericht:
„If you have won the first place at your school, you will get invited to the IHK Leipzig to take part in the last round oft he competition, all while representing your school.
You will have four parts: listening, writing/ reading, talking about yourself and performing a little dialogue with a partner. Sounds familiar to the ones you mastered in school? No need to panic because they are.
Maybe you’ll be the next one to participate …
So, don’t worry, don’t be afraid. You can do it!“
